  1. Use of Arcade Expressions: Simplify, symbolize, calculate, add conditional expressions, format fields, control labeling text and popups by using simple Arcade built-in functions in web maps and ArcGIS Pro. (Harkeerat Kang)
  2. Creating Interactive Map Indexes to Help People Access Thousands of Historic Aerial Photographs: The University of Oregon is using GIS technology to create and publish interactive map indexes to our aerial photograph collection so print photographs of a specific address/area can be easily located. The University of Oregon Libraries has over 800,000 aerial photograph prints of places in Oregon. The oldest date from the 1920s. Paper indexes are aging, fragile, irreplaceable, and in some cases non-existent. Discoverable, easy-to-use indexes will increase visibility of this unique collection and make it easier to use by researchers, genealogists, and many others. (Kathleen Stroud)
